  Hand painted Shirt     How to Make Hand Painted Shirts The first step to making hand painted shirts is to choose a fabric. I chose 100% cotton because it was cheap and durable. Next, cut out two pieces of fabric. One piece should be slightly larger than the other. This will allow you to fold the smaller piece over the larger piece and sew it together. Then, iron the seams flat. Now, take the larger piece of fabric and place it right side down on top of the smaller piece. Iron the edges of the fabric together.
